Coach Audio

The Blaupunkt driver microphones will

make your passengers sit up and listen. The new,

innovative CDM 04 GSM driver microphone is particu-

larly convenient. It was designed as an alternative to the

standard gooseneck microphones for driver announcements as

well as for telephone operation (in conjunction with a conventional

hands-free system). The dynamic microphone can be mounted either

to the left or right of the driver’s seat and moved vertically to seven dif-

ferent click-in positions. In addition, the microphone can also be easily

swivelled 90 degrees upwards or 30 degrees to either side, thus provid-

ing for optimum adjustment to the driver’s individual body size and arm

reach. Another advantage: When an incoming telephone call is detected,

the Blaupunkt Professional Line automatically switches to telephone

operation in the cockpit, whereby the speaker integrated into the

base of the microphone ensures that only the driver hears the tele-

phone ring and the caller’s voice. To further optimise telephone

operation, the position of the speaker’s sound emission

opening to the microphone capsule corresponds to

the distance from the mouth to the ear.

The solid gooseneck microphone equipped

with a switch (CDU 07 S) or without a

switch (CDU 07) was specially designed to

be connected to a Blaupunkt coach system

and for professional use in a coach. The

driver can use this microphone to safely

announce important information at any

time.
